Bedside Cards for Identity Checking

Serafol^® bedside cards for identity checking - more safety in blood transfusion

The possibility of blood bag mix-ups cannot be totally excluded. Most national guidelines for the collection and use of blood and blood products therefore recommend identity checks immediately prior to blood transfusions.

SIFIN provides a bedside identity test to verify the ABO and ABO plus Rh(D) compatibility of blood product and patient blood.
